Meet Us

Tim Cotter joined CFL as General Manager in February 2014. He has had a long and varied career in the Royal Navy, as a Physics Teacher, as an Energy Adviser and an Infrastructure Development Project Manager prior to his arrival at CFL.


Jamie Simpson also joined the company in February 2014 as Vessel Superintendent, responsible for the maintenance and care of the company ships. Jamie was previously Chief Engineer on the patrol vessel Pharos.


Janet Robertson is the Sales & Marketing Manager and has been with CFL in a variety of roles since 1998. She is responsible for the sales, marketing and public relations aspect of the company.


Karen Drysdale joined CFL in May 2013 as financial controller. She previously worked for Falkland Islands Government and has lived in the Islands since December 1991.


Phoebe Socodo-Reid joined CFL in April 2007 as Office Administrator and has since expanded her role to include Crew-Co-ordinator and is responsible for crew recruitment, payroll and travel.


Gary McGill is CFL’s Vessel Operations Co-Ordinator, responsible for assisting the vessel when it is in port and managing company stores at the warehouse and coldstore.


Clodagh Stewart-Reid joined CFL in October 2016 as a Trainee. She assists department managers at CFL, gaining and developing a broad knowledge of the procedures involved in operating a fishing company in the Falkland Islands.
